The first month of our school year is over. This year, we started a little later on September 5. A major renovation of the school began over the summer, which should bring us an extra floor and hopefully a new gym in a year's time.
We welcomed 36 new first graders into our first grade classes and they have acclimated very quickly and are enjoying our school and after school activities. All parents had the opportunity to meet one morning for breakfast at the Pyramid Hotel, organized by our Parent Association. On Friday 23 September we were able to hold a Family Picnic in the school garden where we all gathered, and we were so lucky that it was even with some sunshine. The common virtue for the month of September was respect and so we hope that we can enter the next months, not just the autumn months, with respect.
